Bradley L. Gerstman, Of
Counsel to Ruskin Moscou Faltischek P.C., is a member of the firm’s
Corporate & Securities Department and Energy practice and serves as
Chair of the Education Law practice.
Mr. Gerstman brings a unique
blend of legal and business experience to his clients’ varied needs,
as well as extensive experience in the education community. Licensed
in the State of New York and a member of the New York State Bar
since 1994, Mr. Gerstman started his career as an Assistant District
Attorney in the Bronx, where he investigated corporate fraud and
corruption cases and prosecuted violent crimes.
From 1997 until 2000,
Mr. Gerstman operated a law firm concentrating in criminal defense and
general litigation. Presently, Mr. Gerstman serves as president and
general counsel of Quest Service Group, LLC. In this role, he oversees
business operations, including company strategy, business development
and customer service. He is also an integral member of the executive
team of Quest’s sister company, HGA, Inc., serving as general counsel
and consulting with Fortune 500 companies on matters relating to
business strategy and development. Mr. Gerstman’s experience as an
entrepreneur is invaluable in analyzing his clients’ business needs and
synthesizing those needs into sound advice.
A member of the Education Law Association and the
Nassau County Bar Association’s Education Law Committee, Mr. Gerstman is
a strong advocate for children with special needs. He is a
co-founder and board member of the Lisa Beth Gerstman Foundation, a
family foundation that provides summer camp experiences to children with
physical disabilities. Mr. Gerstman is also the Long Island
Advocacy Chair for Autism Speaks, the nation’s largest autism advocacy
organization. He serves on the executive committee for Autism
Speaks’ Long Island Walk, one of the group’s most important fundraisers,
and chaired Hofstra University Basketball Autism Speaks Awareness Day.
Active in his profession and community, Mr. Gerstman is currently a
member of the Board of Directors of the Nassau Health Care Corporation
and is chairman of the facilities committee where he is spearheading a
$400 million makeover of the hospital, clinics, and senior living
facility. He is also Vice President and Board Member of the Long Island
Medical Foundation.
Additionally, Mr. Gerstman holds memberships on various political
committees and served as advocacy chair on the 2007 Long Island Walk Now
for Autism Planning Committee. He is currently Vice President and
Board Member of the Long Island Medical Foundation. |
