Robert G. Litt is a partner at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, where he chairs the firm’s Tax Certiorari & Condemnation Law Practice Group. He primarily concentrates his practice in the areas of tax certiorari and condemnation law and has significant experience in the related areas of property acquisition proceedings, real estate property tax reduction hearings, zoning, variances and litigation associated with such proceedings. His practice covers Long Island and all of New York State. Mr. Litt also routinely handles matters in New York City and New Jersey.

From 1995 to 2000, he served as Deputy County Attorney in the Tax Certiorari and Condemnation Bureau of the Nassau County Attorney’s Office. Prior to joining Ruskin Moscou Faltischek, he was associated with two law firms where he specialized in complex tax certiorari and condemnation matters.

Mr. Litt is admitted to practice in the State and Federal Courts of both New York and New Jersey and in the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of both the Nassau and Suffolk County Bar Associations, serving on their respective Tax Certiorari and Condemnation Committees and is the member of the New Jersey Bar Association.

Active in the Long Island community, Mr. Litt works with many trade and civic associations, assisting them with their tax certiorari and condemnation needs. Currently, he serves as General Counsel to the Suffolk County Police Veteran’s Association. He is a past president of the New York Condemnation Conference and is a member of the Hauppauge Industrial Association, Commercial Industrial Brokers Society and the Institute for Professionals in Taxation.
