Special-needs children are often at a disadvantage when educated as part of the public school system in New York State. All too often, children with disabilities are denied the services they need to grow and flourish simply because their families do not have the requisite knowledge and experience to gain access to the services their children require. Ruskin Moscou Faltischek understands how frustrating and difficult this task can be.  Our firm understands the unique challenges facing children with disabilities and their families and is dedicated to providing the legal resources necessary to seek a favorable outcome from your school district.

RMF represents families in all areas of education law, including Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings, Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) meetings and impartial hearings.  We also strategize with families early in the process to help them prepare properly so major issues do not flare up and cause unnecessary heartache or litigation.

Our attorneys, some of whom have children with disabilities themselves, are active in various special-needs organizations and associations in order to provide cutting-edge advice and counsel to our valued clients.
